These boots are flexible, that is, not heavily moulded. Whilst this is good for getting into them and fitting my slightly larger than standard calf, they can seem a bit sloppy; the strap fastenings seem to slip a little when new, hopefully will get better with use. The foot fit is roomy for me and I tend to be a normal to wide fit in fashion shoes;. I have successfully used extra insoles to help hold my foot in place. The tread is good enough to hold in muddy fields, tacky or sloshy, though the height of the boot could be about 1 to 2 inches higher to prevent splash stains under my knee. The blue colour is fine, not glaringly bright, but not dull.

Very comfortable boots. I am a 6 but got a 7 to wear thick socks and also added an insole for extra comfort. Quite roomy in the foot but not too big. I have wide calves and these are more snug on the lower calf than the wide ankle ones but that makes it more comfortable than flapping about. I wanted these especially for the sole which is thicker and really good grip in ice, snow and mud. Very happy with these. I also have the brown boots from jileon which I love, very comfortable but not wholly waterproof when wading through water.

The quality of these are next to none, however they are slightly too snug for me to be able to wear day in day out. I’ve had jileon wellies for the last 5 years and knew when my MIL killed my old ones they where the place I would be going for my new ones however the sizes seem to of changed in the last 4 years as my old ones where just plain green and black ones which are in the up to 50cm calf range which I measure to be in but I’ve sized up and bought some well or socks.
